HPDE General Notice
If you do not see the HPDE Group that you want, that means it is full. Please email will@drivenasa.com to get on the waiting list.

HPDE 1 is where it all starts. If you've never been on track before or would like to be guaranteed an instructor, sign up for HPDE 1. We do not rent transponders for HPDE 1. Selecting the HPDE 1 option automatically assigns you an instructor. Please do not select the Instructor option.

HPDE 2:
HPDE 2 is for drivers that have been signed off to drive on their own, but want more time at HPDE 1 speeds and skill level. So Group 2 is Group 1 (runs with Group 1), but with no instructor assignment. We do not rent transponders for HPDE 2.

HPDE 3:
Saturday will work up to additional passing by the end of the day. Sunday will be a continuation, starting with limited passing and then picking up pace and passing areas in subsequent sessions. This should better prepare drivers for Group 4. Sunday only entrants should be aware of this.

HPDE 4 is for advanced drivers with open passing skills. All HPDE 4 drivers who are new to NASA must be pre-approved by the Chief Instructor before being allowed to drive in HPDE 4.

Time Trial

You must possess a NASA TT license to run in TT. You can apply for a license HERE.
Time Trial will have 4 - 20 minute sessions per day.

Cyclone - 2 races Saturday, one Super Sprint Sunday.
Thunder - 2 races per day.

Competition School

Comp School is for drivers in HPDE4 or TT to get their NASA Provisional License. CS starts with classroom Friday afternoon/evening at 6pm. Then you will run some on-track drills and practice starts Saturday morning. Upon passing classroom and on-track drills Friday and Saturday you will be placed into your race class for the remainder of the weekend.  The $395 entry covers Comp School and your race entry for the weekend. You must have your medical on file with the national office before the event. Get the form HERE.
