ALL DRIVERS PLEASE READ ALL OF THE IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW BEFORE REGISTERING! Schedule and driver list will be posted by 7 days prior to the event.
RACERS: Renew your license early to avoid a last minute hassle! Choose Race entry plus Supersize TT if you want to add Time Trial to your entry at a special price. Race licenses are valid from Jan to Dec. and you must have a 2020 NASA license for this event. You may use a current license from another approved sanctioning body to apply for your NASA license. Please renew/apply prior to coming to the track. E-mail Beth Dunnivant at firstname.lastname@example.org for licensing info. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CAR INFO WHEN REGISTERING TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE SELECTING CORRECT CAR IN YOUR PROFILE WITH A TRANSPONDER NUMBER. If you do not submit the correct info with your entry or you do not get the info to the registrar by the Wednesday prior to the event when online registration closes, you will be charged $25 at the track. PLEASE HAVE ALL NEEDED INFORMATION WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE BELOW FORM ONLINE. TX rental is last option.
Drivers must have a 2020 Time Trial or 2020 Race License to participate....renew early so you have your license in hand at the event! Entrants must have a transponder and please rent one if necessary (last option on this page). Email Time Trial Director Scott Blair at email@example.com if you have questions about TT or being evaluated for a license. When registering, please make sure your car information is correct and includes a tx number unless you are renting. TREC Race (Friday):
The TREC Race will occur from 3:30-5:30 on Friday afternoon. Racers, Time Trial entrants, HPDE 3/4 drivers and qualified HPDE 2 drivers may participate. If you are HPDE 2 level, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an experience review. Car must pass race tech and driver must have all safety gear. If you are doing a full test, open practice day, please select the $54 option. If you are only doing the TREC option, please select the $225 option. For info about TREC:
You will have 4 daily HPDE sessions on Saturday and Sunday. HPDE 1 and most HPDE 2 (unless HPDE 2 solo) are automatically assigned an Instructor. If you have run as HPDE 2 solo, please put that in your admin notes. Experience will be verified. HPDE 3 (Advanced) drivers are not assigned an instructor. HPDE 4 is primarily for Instructors; however, we do have a limited number of slots for those who have been given a checkride for HPDE 4/have NASA experience. If you need information and/or are new to NASA please email email@example.com if you have questions about which group is most appropriate. Please list your driving experience in your profile.
Hyperdrive: Hyperdrive slots tend to sell out quickly and please register for the wait list if full. A Hyperdrive is one track session plus classroom for $50. Drivers are assigned an instructor. This is intended for those new to the sport. You do not have to be a member to participate. When you get to the membership screen, the system will allow for you to click continue without purchasing a membership.
Competition School (Friday): Students must have approval and please e-mail your experience to firstname.lastname@example.org. On Friday, entrants will receive over two hours of track time, practice race drills/standing and rolling starts, and a practice race. Classroom instruction and a panel of licensed racers for question/answer sessions are also provided. Please register to race if that is your intention if you pass. Email email@example.com any questions about the licensing process/paperwork needed.
Instructor Clinic (Friday): To enroll, you must have approximately 25-30 track days at a variety of tracks. The clinic includes track time and class time/drills throughout the day. If you pass the clinic and want to instruct that weekend, please go ahead and register to do so. There is a separate line item for that. Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you register, you will immediately receive a purchase confirmation receipt by e-mail which also indicates you have been accepted into the event. If you do not get this receipt, you are not registered. 7 days before the event, you will receive further instructions by email for the event, and these instructions will also be posted at www.nasaracing.net
under the event. The Driver list and schedule will be posted by 7-10 days prior to the event.
All drivers are responsible for any track damage that is the result of their actions on or off the track and will be financially responsible for repair/replacement of damaged track property.
