Online Registration is discounted up to 2 weeks prior to the event. Prices for the Race and TT groups will increase by $75 ten days prior to the event. Fees are $100 higher than online price when registering at the track!

Note- The schedule won't be released until adequate entries can determine run groups. An event confirmation email will be sent 2 days prior to the event.

Important Dates

10/07/2024 Discounted registration for Race/TT ends @ 11:00pm

HPDE / TT INFORMATION:

All HPDE classes (1-4) on Saturday and Sunday.

ALL participants in the TT run group are REQUIRED to have a transponder.

Additionally, all drivers registering for HPDE4/TT must be pre-approved by the group leader prior to the event. If you have not participated in NASA SoCal HPDE4/TT within the last two years and do not have a NASA Competition racing or TT license, you MUST e-mail [email protected] for screening and approval.

PLEASE NOTE TRANSPONDER RENTAL POLICY: Unfortunately, due to 25% of rented transponders not being returned, we have been forced to implement a $50 penalty on transponders that are not returned to Registration on Sunday, 30 minutes after the last session. On Monday morning, anyone who has a missing transponder will be charged $50 to their credit card on file. If the transponder is not returned to NASA SoCal (see Contacts page for address) by the Wednesday after the event, a replacement fee of $400 will be charged.

Also please note that transponders are not rented to HPDE1 and 2 groups as they are not timed but are REQUIRED in TT. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

INFORMATION FOR MINORS:

All minors are required to have parent or guardian present at the track to sign and submit the minor waiver. Each waiver is only good for THAT specific event. A new waiver is required for each event. Additionally, a parent or guardian MUST be in attendance for the entirety of the minors participation. Minors are not permitted to drive without a parent or guardian present. NASA 2025 CCR's section 3.5.

INFORMATION FOR CONVERTIBLE VEHICLES:

NASA has a list of approved convertibles located here. No passengers are permitted in any convertible, in any run group, except instructors or if the vehicle has a rollbar that provides passenger protection, as per 2025 NASA CCR section 4.5, subsection 11, as well as the NASA SOCAL Event Information Document, HPDE section, item E, located here. Vehicles must be run with the top down when on track.

Eligibility and Licensing Requirements

HPDE Intro, HPDE 1: Valid, state-issued drivers' license.

HPDE 2-4: HPDE passport check or instructor approval.

Time Trial (TT): NASA TT license, NASA Competition License, or approval from series leader. Contact John Magnuson,

Racing (sprint and endurance): NASA Competition License

Supersize ST: You must be registered to race in order to supersize your entry.

Optional: HPDE 3-4

None: HPDE 1-2 (These sessions are not timed.)

NASA SoCal Cancellation Policy:

HPDE/Time Trial/Competition School: Full refund less $30.00 processing fee, with at least 1 week notice prior to the event, otherwise no refunds or credits. Please know that NASA events do not cancel due to rain. No exceptions.

Race Groups: Fees are eligible for a full credit (good for 365 days from the day of issuance), less a $30 processing fee, provided that you registered at least 12 days in advance and you notify your NASA region within 5 days following the missed event. No partial refunds allowed. This policy does not apply to special events. Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.

The Toyota HPDE cancellation policy requires a minimum of 14-days notice before your scheduled event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please submit your request via the contact form or call us at 844-477-8772. You will forfeit your complimentary track day if we do not hear from you 14-days prior to your event. Regretfully, we cannot make any exceptions to this policy. Please know that NASA events do not cancel due to rain.
