NJMP Lightning- Nov 6-8 "One Last Chance" - End of 2026 season

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SUNDAY Sept 20

FRI: Test/Tune Racers and TT , Advanced HPDE 2/3/4, and GR Intro

SAT:   TT (4 sessions) and Sprint racers (2 races), HPDE 1-2-3-4

Sun: HPDE , TREC 3 hr race "The Hangover 500"

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING: SCHEDULE will be modified for Daylight Savings Time, 9am to 5:20pm. Because of this shortened day, HPDE groups will have 4 sessions on Fri, 3 sessions on Sat/Sun. Depending on registration counts, HPDE will be combined to 3 run groups. Prices have been adjusted for this schedule.

RACERS and TT: Sat will be two single points races for each race group. TT will have 2 morning sessions for points, and then 2 afternoon sessions for second points. No races on Sunday except for the TREC race and all are welcome to participate. Season champions will be awarded Sat night at Awards Dinner. Tickets can be purchased now online.

TESLA/ EV and Hybrid Vehicles are NOT allowed to participate at NJMP.

HPDE Registration   Please choose registration based on your experience.

      HPDE1 Novice- No experience or very limited experience. Instructors will be assigned to each driver.  

      HPDE2 Multiple days/events. Cleared to Solo. 

      HPDE3 Multiple Track days at different tracks

     HPDE4 Advanced 20+ track days with open passing 

You may choose a car number when you register and we will notify you if it needs to change. 2 or 3 digit numbers are better choices. Numbers can be done in tape or we sell adhesive numbers at registration. Numbers must be 7 inches in size or larger.

Track access is Thursday 7pm. FREE camping for this event, electric hookups are paid via WiFi app. Directions are on the electric box.

TREC SUNDAY race registration: This is the final TREC race in our 2026 series "The Hangover 500". Team registration for $399, then each driver must register themselves for $99. Car must pass all CCR rules for tech and safety. It will be a 3 hr race due to Daylight Savings Time.

discount for NASA/NJMP members.

Trophy Awards and End of Season Dinner is Sat Nov 7 @6pm. Ticket purchase for the end-of-year Awards dinner will be done under a separate event. See registration page.

All drivers and friends are welcome but must have a pre-paid ticket as this is a catered event.

Detailed info will be mailed 7-10 days before event. Schedules will be posted on NASA NE website as soon as they are finalized, usually 3-5 days before the event.  

CANCELLATION POLICY: HPDE/Time Trial/Open Track: Full refund less $50.00 processing fee, with at least 1 week notice prior to the event start date. Cancellations received up to 72 hrs before the start of the event will receive a credit towards another event this season. Under 72 hrs no credit is available. 

Race Groups: Fees are fully refundable, less a $50 processing fee, provided that you registered at least 12 days in advance and you notify your NASA region within 3 days following the missed event. No partial refunds allowed. This policy does not apply to special events. Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.

The Toyota HPDE cancellation policy requires a minimum of 14-days notice before your scheduled event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please send us an email at [email protected] or call us at 844-477-8772. You will forfeit your complimentary track day if we do not hear from you 14-days prior to your event. Regretfully, we cannot make any exceptions to this policy. Please know that NASA events do not cancel due to rain.
