Cancellation Policies

By registering for any NASA event, you are agreeing to the relevant cancellation policies as listed below.

Arizona Region

HPDE/Time Trial/School/Open Track/Race: Full refund less $30.00 (or 7%) processing fee (whichever is higher), with at least 10 day notice prior to the event, otherwise no refunds. 100% credit towards a future NASA AZ event may be issued *IF* we can fill your registration spot. The Toyota HPDE cancellation policy requires a minimum of 14-days notice before your scheduled event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please submit your request via the contact form or call us at 844-477-8772. You will forfeit your complimentary track day if we do not hear from you 14-days prior to your event. Regretfully, we cannot make any exceptions to this policy.

Please know that NASA events do not cancel due to rain.

Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.

California - Northern Region

HPDE/Time Trial/School/Open Track: Full refund less $30.00 processing fee, with at least 1 week notice prior to the event, otherwise no refunds or credits. No exceptions.

Race Groups: Fees are fully refundable, less a $30 processing fee, provided that you registered at least 12 days in advance and you notify your NASA region within 5 days following the missed event. No partial refunds allowed. This policy does not apply to special events. Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.

California - Southern Region

HPDE/Time Trial/Competition School: Full refund less $30.00 processing fee, with at least 1 week notice prior to the event, otherwise no refunds or credits. No exceptions.

Florida Region

Racing/HPDE/Time Trial/Open Track/Test & Tune/Comp Eval/Hyperdrive/Garages/Transponder Rentals: Full credit valid for 365 days toward a later event, with at least 7 full days notice prior to the start of the event (i.e. before 12:01am on the Saturday one week prior, or 12:01am on the Friday one week prior for three day events), otherwise no credits – and sorry, no exceptions. Once the car goes on track all fees are non refundable & not eligible for credits. Waiting list entries automatically apply to our next event at the same track if a spot is not available, and are only eligible for credits. Cancellation requests are only accepted in writing and must be sent to regional director Jim VanderVliet (jim@drivenasafl.com) This all applies to regular FL Region events at Sebring or Homestead or PBIR, the policy may be different for special events or shared events hosted by other regions.

Great Lakes Region

-We are sorry but there will be no exceptions to these cancellation policies.
-Entry fees cannot be transferred between NASA Regions.
-Entries fees cannot be transferred to another driver or from year to year.
-Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.
-All refund or transfer requests must be emailed to the Registrar  prior to the dates listed below.

HPDE/TT: Fees cannot be refunded or transferred after 10 days prior to the event being canceled. If you cancel 10 days prior to the event, you receive a full refund less $50.00 Processing fee. Fridays are separate from the weekend registration, cannot be combined and will incur a separate $50 processing fee. An option to avoid the $50 processing fee, 10 days prior to the event, is a one-time transfer to a future event in the same region and the same calendar year. However, if you are unable to attend the event you transferred your entry to, a refund or second transfer will NOT be permitted. Entries transferred to a higher cost event will incur the difference in event costs.

Race Groups: Fees are fully refundable, less a $50 processing fee, with at least a 10 day notice prior to the start of the event. Fridays are separate from the weekend registration, and will incur a separate $50 processing fee.  If notification is received after 10 days prior to the event, you will receive 100% credit in the form of 2 discount coupons to be used for future GL events.

Transponders/Tech inspections:
Transponders and Tech inspections - Full refund less $5 processing fee.
Garages are non refundable.

Hawaii Region

MidAmerica Region

All drivers: Full refund less $75.00 processing fee 7 days out. $125.00 processing fee within 3 to 7 days of event. No refunds on garages or within 3 days of event. We will however offer a 50% credit toward your next event during the current season. Please contact dlane@drivenasa.com.

TREC full refund less 125. Full refund less 250., within 7 days of event.

No refunds after event has started.

Mid Atlantic Autocross Region

For FALL FINALE at Summit Point and/or all "HPDE/TT Only" (non race weekend) SPECIAL EVENTS: Full credit valid for 365 days or refund less $150.00 processing fee, with written notice at least 14 days prior to the start of the event (i.e. by midnight the Friday two weeks prior), otherwise no refunds or credits. Once the car goes on track all fees are non refundable and not eligible for credits. Waiting list entries are only eligible for credits. Sorry no exceptions. Mid Atlantic Autocross Region event cancellation requests are only accepted in writing and must be sent to Jon Felton (jfelton@nasaracing.net)


For all Trackcrosses, Autocrosses, and Rallycrosses: All sales final – no cancellation, refund, or credit. Entry is transferrable to another person for this event only. If you are having car problems, your best option is to bring a different car. If you find you cannot attend for any other reason, your best option is to sell or give the spot to someone else qualified to participate, then let us know whose name to put on it by 72 hours prior.


For all Kart Enduros: Refunds or credits shall not be issued, but substitutions are allowed. Entries for a postponed or cancelled kart enduro are automatically applied to the next kart enduro scheduled at that venue. We need a minimum of 8 teams per race or else we may postpone or apply all entries to the next race.


For all other Special Events: Refunds or credits shall not be issued, but substitutions are allowed at no additional charge.

Mid Atlantic Region

The following cancellation policy applies to all NASA Mid Atlantic Race Weekends EXLCUDING HYPERFEST. See Hyperfest policy below regular policy.
-There will be no exceptions to these cancellation policies.
-Entry fees cannot be transferred between NASA Regions.
-Entry fees cannot be transferred to another driver.
-Once the car hits the track there will be no refunds or credits of any fees.
-All refund or credit requests must be emailed to the Registrar prior to the dates listed below. Email address is laura@nasaracing.net

HPDE/Time Trial/Instructor Clinic/Open Practice/Competition School:
There are no refunds or credits if you cancel less than 10 days from the event.
If you cancel 10 days or MORE prior to the event you have two options.

• 100% credit that will be good for 365 days from the date of cancellation. Credits will be issued via two coupon codes which may be used during normal online registration for two future NASA MA events (excluding Hyperfest).

• 100% transfer credit less a $50 transfer fee that will be good for 365 days from the date of cancellation. Transfer Credits will be issued via two coupon codes which may be used during normal online registration for two future NASA MA events (excluding Hyperfest). Transfer credits are a one-time transfer to a future event within the Mid Atlantic region. If you are unable to attend the event you transferred your entry to, a refund or second transfer will NOT be permitted.
Entries transferred to a higher cost event will incur the difference in event costs.

HYPERFEST POLICY
No exceptions; Applies to all entrants
There are no refunds or credits if you cancel LESS than 10 days from the event. Must give notice to Laura Cobetto at laura@nasaracing.net
If you cancel 10 days or more prior to the event you have two options.

Race Groups: Fees are fully refundable, less a $50 processing fee, provided that you registered at least 2 weeks in advance and you notify us within 1 week of the event. No partial refunds allowed. This policy does not apply to special events. Barber & Flatrock events are the same rules with a $70 cancellation fee. Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.

Failure to make that event. No refund.

HPDE/Time Trial/School/Open Track: Full refund less $50.00 processing fee, with at least 1 week notice prior to the event start date. Cancellations received up to 72 hrs before the start of the event will receive a credit towards another event. Under 72 hrs no credit is available

Credits are only valid for one year.

Race Groups: Fees are fully refundable, less a $30 processing fee, provided that you registered at least 12 days in advance and you notify your NASA region within 5 days following the missed event. Cancellation and Refund Policy



  • All refund or credit requests must be submitted via email to info@nasarockymountain.com.

  • Entry fees cannot be transferred to events hosted by another NASA Region

  • Entry fees cannot be transferred to another driver.

  • Once you've driven in a session, all fees are non-refundable.

  • No partial refunds or credits.

Credits will be issued via a one time use Promotional Code that can be used during the normal online registration
process. Credits are valid for a one-time transfer to a future Rocky Mountain event. If you are unable to attend the
event you transferred your entry to, a refund or second transfer will NOT be permitted.




Toyota HPDE


The Toyota HPDE cancellation policy requires a minimum of 14-days notice before your scheduled event. If for any

complimentary track day if we do not hear from you 14-days prior to your event. Regretfully, we cannot make any

Weather


NASA Rocky Mountain does not cancel events due to rain or snow. NASA Rocky Mountain will make every effort to hold
the event. In the event the track cannot open due to weather, every effort will be made to reschedule the event.

Southeast Region

ALL Refund requests must be made via email to registration@nasa-se.com .

Registration Fees are fully refundable, less a $50 processing fee, with at least a 10 day notice prior to the start of the event. Instructor and Instructor/TT fees are not refundable. This policy does not apply to Black Friday, Holiday Promotion, Fun Races, TREC, special events nor combined region events. If within 10 days of the event, no refunds, no credits nor transfers will apply. Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable, non transferrable and no credit given.

Black Friday, Holiday Promotion, TREC, FUN races and special events
any event registered during the Holiday Promotion period or on Black Friday is not eligible for a refund. Up until 14 days prior to the start of the event, You will be able to transfer the registration to another SE region hosted event the same year or a member within the same calendar year, but a small change/transfer fee will apply. If within 14 days of the event, no refunds, no credits nor transfers will apply. TREC, Fun Races and special events offer no refunds, no credits, nor transfers. Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.

If within 5 days of the event, no refunds or credits will be available. If you choose to select an event credit vs. a refund you will not endure the $50 processing fee but you are still required to give 5 days notice.
